Installing Primatte Key Pro on After Effects CS4

If you’ve recently upgraded or purchased a copy of After Effects CS4 on a mac and also have the Primatte Key Pro 4.0 software, you may run into a little trouble installing the software or at least After Effects not seeing you plugin. Here is the solution:

When installing select Primatte Keyer for After Effects 8.0+

Move (or copy depending if you still have a CS3 version installed) the folder:

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/CS3/MediaCore/Primatte Keyer 4.0

to

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/CS4/MediaCore/Primatte Keyer 4.0

Restart After Effects CS4 and you should be ready to key.
